Geelong start line

Whatever your goal, you are guaranteed to love the entertainment and atmosphere at our famous waterfront start line. Join Cadel and thousands of passionate cycling friends in a sea of coastal blue as we countdown to the start of the 2020 Swisse People’s Ride!

Foreshore Bay

Just a few kilometres in you will see why Geelong is a stunning place to ride. You will head along the waterfront and around the point to Foreshore Bay, before following the same outbound route as the longer courses.

Armstrong Creek

Turning right at Warralily Boulevard, the course takes you through to Horseshoe Bend Road. Head back into town passing South Barwon Reserve and set your sights on the exciting Eastern Park segment.

The Waterfront and Finish

If you have a kick left in your legs, open up while riding west along Eastern Beach Road and Brougham Street. Cruise around the Deakin University Geelong Waterfront Campus, and enjoy a final push to the finish! There’s no better sense of achievement than crossing the finish line and catching up with friends at the post-ride event village.
