The oldest French team in the pro peloton returns to Australian shores for its sixth Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race. Always in the mix, AG2R LA MONDIALE will be pushing for its first win at Australia’s only one day classic.

BORA - HANSGROHE (Germany)

BORA – hansgrohe has experienced plenty of success in Victoria, winning Towards Zero Race Melbourne twice and Queensland’s Jay McCarthy famously became the first Australian to win the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race in 2018. They will be pushing hard for further success in 2020.

CCC TEAM (Poland)

Poland’s first WorldTour cycling team is home to speedsters New Zealand Time Trial Champion Patrick Bevin and American Time Trial Champion Joey Rosskopf. Formerly known as BMC Racing Team, this is where Cadel Evans famously won the 2011 Tour de France.

COFIDIS (France)

With the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race reigning champion now in its ranks, Cofidis will be keen to pick up early season UCI WorldTour points in Geelong. The European Champion joined the French outfit this year and will be tough to beat on Sunday 2 February.

Winner of the UCI WorldTeam Classification in the past two seasons, Deceuninck – Quick-Step will field a strong and versatile seven-man team in Race Torquay and the One-Day Classic. Watch out for Irish Champion and two-time winner of Towards Zero Race Melbourne, Sam Bennett.

Impossible to miss in its striking pink strip, American outfit EF Education First returns in 2020. Open to challenging the norms in cycling, this team is always looking for new ways to entertain and engage with fans. Look out for its flamboyant riders, including Aussie Mitch Docker.
