GEELONGPORT FAMILY RIDE

Friday 31 January 2025

Thank you for joining us at the GeelongPort Family Ride in 2025!

We still can’t wipe the smile off our faces, the afternoon was a blast! A perfect summer afternoon, it was so heartwarming to see hundreds of kids on their bikes enjoying the sport we all love.

With AFL Premiership captain Max Gawn and his sons George and Louis leading the way, the 2025 event was all about celebrating our wonderful Geelong community, getting out for exercise and the simple joy of riding a bike.

We hope to see you again in 2026!

STYLE YOUR RIDE

Former Australian cycling professional Simon Gerrans has join the 2025 ride as an ambassador and said he
loved seeing all the families hit the circuit on the Geelong Waterfront.

Hendry’s Cycles hosted a free ‘style your ride’ activation during the GeelongPort Family Ride for all kids in attendance, as well as providing mechanical support.

“It’s a fantastic element of the festival of cycling in Geelong – something the whole family can get involved with. I have four kids and we’ll be on the circuit Friday afternoon, enjoying it with over 1000 other kids and families!”
