Shimano’s main goal in life and business is to help people get closer to nature through the cycling activities they enjoy most. Working together to fulfil a dream in which more people ride bikes, and the bikes they ride shift better, brake better and perform better overall.

There are as many ways to enjoy cycling as there are people on bikes and Shimano has devoted its resources to meeting as many of those individual riding needs as possible, creating the widest range of high quality bicycle components in the world.

Every TAC People’s Ride entrant receives a high performance Santini jersey celebrating rational forms of the Bauhaus movement, where shapes and colours also have a practical function. Here the function is the recognisability of the design, making the cycling jersey visible from long distances where the colours seem to “blend” into a single colour.

Custom designed and made in Italy, the jersey reflects the succession of ocean waves and currents.
