The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race has put the call out for volunteers to help make the 2023 event one to remember.

After a two-year absence, the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is part of Australia’s Summer of Cycling once again and wants locals and visitors alike to experience the thrill of this elite sporting event.

Expressions of interests are now open from those keen to join the team and lend a hand during the January 27-29 weekend to help deliver another massive schedule.

It has taken an army of volunteers to make the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race happen in years gone by and it will take another mighty effort from volunteers to ensure the smooth running of the action both on and off the course.

Volunteers will play a huge role within the set up and operation of all races and activities including the UCI WorldTour Men’s and Deakin Uni Women’s Elite races, TAC People’s Ride and VEGEMITE Family Ride as well as the live site festivities along the Geelong Waterfront.

Roles will include course marshalling, venue and event assistants to athlete services.

All volunteers receive detailed briefings and be equipped with necessary equipment to ensure the smooth delivery of required roles.

Volunteers will receive an event t-shirt and cap, and hopefully many great memories to take away.
