Renowned Swiss watchmaker, TUDOR has joined forces with the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race as the event’s official timing partner.

With strong roots in cycling across the globe as the official timekeeper of the Giro d’Italia and Strade Bianche, TUDOR is excited to further its commitment to cycling with the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race joining an elite suite of international events.

Celebrating the world-class riders that will descend on the region in January, TUDOR has created bespoke engraved watches for both the elite men’s and women’s winners of the 2024 one-day classic races.

TUDOR’s presence in cycling is further shown via their co-owned TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, a men’s professional team that competes on the UCI ProSeries and has a strong relationship with multiple former World Time Trial champion, Fabian Cancellara.

Event founder and 2011 Tour de France winner Cadel Evans said the partnership with Tudor takes the Cadel Evans great Ocean Road Race – Australia’s only UCI WorldTour certified one-day classic – to exciting new heights.

“I am proud and honored that TUDOR have extended their developing association in world cycling by agreeing to partner with the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race,” Evans said.

“Everyone connected with our race and event is delighted to be joining TUDOR’s journey in cycling which already encompasses partnerships with the TUDOR Pro Cycling Team, Fabian Cancellara and other renowned cycling events globally.”

A TUDOR spokesperson is excited to watch the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race grow into a leading WorldTour event.

“We’re thrilled to be supporting the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race as part of TUDOR’s extended commitment to the world of cycling,” TUDOR spokesperson said.

“Aligning the TUDOR brand to a key cycling event in Australia further strengthens brand visibility and allows us to continue presenting the TUDOR narrative in a relevant setting.”

Australia was one of the first markets the TUDOR brand landed in, launching in the 1930s. TUDOR is proud to have roots in the region for close to a century and is looking forward to expanding its presence via the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race.

TUDOR is an award-winning Swiss-made watch brand, offering watches with refined aesthetics, proven reliability and unique value for money.

The Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race is an initiative of Visit Victoria, endorsed by the Victorian State Government and a pillar of Australia’s major events calendar.
