As excitement builds toward the return of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race, participants of 2023 TAC People’s Ride will be treated to a newly designed exclusive jersey produced by official event partner, Santini.
The Italian-made jersey is included with the full price of entry for all distances of the TAC People’s Ride in 2023.
The striking new design for the event’s return has been inspired by the rational forms of the Bauhaus movement, where shapes and colours also have a practical function.
Here, the function is the recognizability of the design, making the shirt visible from long distances where the colours seem to “blend” into a single colour.
In a tribute to the Great Ocean Road and the Surf Coast region, the design replicates the succession of ocean waves and currents, in a geometric key, using the chromatic variants of the large blue mirror.
Utilising the same design style, bib shorts, vests, caps, gloves and socks have been made available and are sure to be snapped up quickly if history is anything to go by.
