Ride with Cadel Evans, Australia’s only Tour de France winner, and three-time Tour de France champion Greg LeMond.

It’s official. The best way to experience Australia’s world-famous coastline this summer is on two wheels.

The fourth edition of the Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race – Swisse People’s Ride is here.

Not only will you ride with Cadel Evans, Australia’s only Tour de France winner, but also three-time Tour de France champion Greg LeMond!

“Greg LeMond was one of the first riders I remember being inspired by when I watched him against Miguel Induráin in the early ’90s,” recalled Cadel. “His influence on the sport and the Tour de France is legendary. It will be a pleasure to host him in Geelong and share the scenery of our magnificent Great Ocean Road.”

Plus, this year we introduce the inaugural 35km course – perfect for riders of all abilities. While, the 65km and 111km courses return for those who love a longer hit out.

Cadel said his vision for the Swisse People’s Ride is to make cycling accessible to the whole community.

“We’re proud to provide this safe, controlled environment where thousands of riders can experience cycling on my favourite training roads.”

Minister for Tourism and Major Events, John Eren, said the spectacular nature of the Swisse People’s Ride course had contributed to its sell-out success.

“Whichever distance people choose to ride, they will be cycling through some of Victoria’s most famous regions, alongside the world’s greatest names in the sport,” he said.

Swisse Wellness is returning as the naming rights sponsor of the 2018 Cadel Evans Great Ocean Road Race participation ride.

Oliver Horn, Managing Director of Swisse Wellness, said the Swisse People’s Ride is the perfect occasion to celebrate good health and happiness.

“We are proud to be supporting the Swisse People’s Ride again in 2018 and look forward to seeing everyone take part in the highly-anticipated event,” he said.

“We are excited to promote the benefits of being active, healthy and happy, which is what we champion here at Swisse Wellness. When you get to test yourself on the bike, enjoy the company of thousands of cycling enthusiasts and soak in the spectacular views of the Great Ocean Road all at the same time, it’s an inspiring weekend.”
